Narrow Sight Lines, Uncompromising Quality

Fleetwood offers everything from a simple fixed window to corners, to elaborate window-walls with operable window inserts. Their windows are an ideal complement to any of their door products and is a wise choice over commercial storefront. Fleetwood exclusively designs products for luxury homes whereas storefront is designed for retail strip centers. Fleetwood’s fixed window offers a 1-7/16” perimeter sightline, compared to a typical 2” frame for commercial storefront systems. Since storefront products are built on the jobsite, the quality is dependent on the worker assembling the window and the quality of tools available to them. Fleetwood windows are made in controlled environments with dedicated Quality Control, Engineers and Managers during every step of the manufacturing process. By taking their hardware in-house and controlling the quality, they aren’t reliant on subpar rollers, handles and locking components to ensure incredible performance. Many of their competitors outsource most components and while they may be able to offer cheaper products, they don’t perform as well or stand the test of time.

Fleetwood Windows & Doors New York
  • 1) The most popular feature of the 3800-T is the minimal perimeter frame measuring 1.4375” to maximize the view. You can elect to have the glass to the interior of the frame or exterior.

    2) The Series 3800-T is offered with a simulated divided lite which resembles a classic steel window beveled design. This allows the “Steel Look” without the inherent complications, limitations and price tag of steel products.

    3) Virtually unlimited window wall assembly configurations. Design massive walls of glass for your home with large fixed windows mixed with operable windows for air flow.

  • 1) The new, yet classic cube frame design achieves some of the thinnest sight-lines possible for an operable windows, with just a 2.5625 wall-to-glass dimension. This was achievable by making the frame slightly deeper than the 350-T. In other words, less frame equals more glass.

    2) The 450-T handle and locking latch were specifically designed to match the sleekness and minimalism of the cube-shaped frame. The linear, geometric hardware is made from high-grade electropolished stainless steel and the hinges can handle up to 200lb + vents.

    3) The multi-purpose .1875” shadow line is a beautiful design feature that’s also functional by hiding the weep holes that allow the window to drain. By not exposing the weep holes you’re left with a clean looking operable window. The perimeter shadow line compliments the cube design by adding dimension.

    4) The 450-T can be inserted into 3800-T window wall assemblies for ventilation.

  • 1) The original, tried and true operable window from Fleetwood is just as relevant today as ever, working seamlessly with the 3800-T window wall system. The hinged screen offers magnetic keeper and latch for easy functionality.

    2) Fleetwood welds the vent corners for lifetime performance whereas many competitors use the less durable screw-joined corners. This allows casement sizes that rival that of hinged doors.

    3) The 350-T, as well as several other Fleetwood products, offers a steel-look SDL option with a beveled SDL grid made to mimic the look of steel windows without the price tag.

  • 1) Careful attention was given to the scale of Fleetwood’s sliding window, with a minimal perimeter frame and less than 2” vertical interlockers to maximize the amount of glass.

    2) The proprietary locking latch made of 316 stainless steel is a self-latching design. So, all you need to do to lock the window securely is close it.

    3) The 330-T tandem rollers stand apart amongst sliding windows due to their ability for adjustment. Meanwhile, the screen is integrated into the 330-T frame instead of jutting out proud of the frame, giving a sleek finished appearance.

The Series 3800-T works seamlessly with Fleetwood’s door products and operable windows. The 3800-T offers a 1-7/16” perimeter sight-line, compared to a typical 2” frame for commercial storefront systems. A unique quality of the Series 3800-T is the option for operable window inserts. While field-fabricated storefronts can surface mount vents, creating a larger sightline and visible caulk joint, Fleetwood’s inserts are designed to dive into the frame, which reduces lines and metal. The Series 3800-T is offered with simulated divided lites, which resemble a classic steel window beveled design. This allows the “Steel Look” without the inherent complications, limitations and price tag of steel products.
